We made our first official trip out of town since over a year ago. Paul has not been able to travel further than an hour away since he was listed for his transplant in August of 2008. Needless to say we have been literally no where but at home or in the hospital! It was great to get away, even if it was only a quick trip. We stayed at Paul's parents second home in St. George. It was a little chilly for down South but still was great fun!
We put Eden to work and had her take a photo of us. We may have a future photographer in the works!!!!!
We brought our bikes (that's a first) and rode them from the house over to a trail and then walked to the river.
Eden was so happy to be outside exploring. She cried pretty hard when it was time to go.
Throwing rocks in the river was a definite favorite.
This was a brief trip and we didn't do much but it sure was thrilling to get a taste of all the great things we look forward to planning this summer. So exciting to think of the prospects!!! Paul and I have not been on bikes together since we were first married and I know Eden was loving the family bike ride and hike. Here's to many great excursions to come!!!!!!
