About a year ago, I told Paul that if he made it through his transplant, one of the things I wanted to do was go to Disneyland or Disneyworld and celebrate. It was not necessarily because I am a Disney fan but because Eden is at a prime age to go there. To her, every character was real and every detail was a new adventure. To experience the magic through her eyes was so much fun for Paul and me. It just so happened that he hit his 6 month anniversary while we were on our trip.
It was so exhilarating to see this sight.....Paul and Eden...hand in hand...ready to conquer the day with loads of energy and no limitations. If you can believe it, I think Paul had the most energy out of us all!!!!
Our first stop....The Teacups!
Eden is just like her mother......a roller coaster junkie!
This one was Eden's favorite.....Splash Mountain. I think we rode it about 6 times! She wore mom's hoodie to keep from getting wet!
Awwww.....the bus again? Can't we just sleep at the park and avoid this?
This was a water ride at Animal Kingdom called "The Rapids." Eden kept referring to it as "The Bunnies." We later figured out that she had mistakenly thought it was "The Rabbits" and then mixed it up to become "The Bunnies!"
Here is the before shot.......
...and the after shot!!!
(Good thing mom brought a change of clothes, it was cold!)

Meeting the characters was a definite highlight!
Here with Sleeping Beauty, Eden's favorite!
Cinderella
Princess Belle
Little Einstein characters.....another favorite.

Taking a break!

Occasionally there was some of this!!!!

But we could easily fix it with some good old ice cream!
Oh......ice cream again! Yummy!
It was a bit chilly but it thankfully warmed up enough later in the week for a trip to the water parks.
Eden was in heaven there.....she thought we were at a real beach with the sand and all!!!
(Good thing because the beach was over 3 hours away.)

Loving those water slides!
Lots of great playtime with Daddy!
Plenty of great activities.

Eden can't stop talking about our trip. Now that's a hallmark of a great memory!!!
