To whom it may concern......

Hi.....If you have a moment, I just wanted to tell you how things have changed for me around here....in a good way!!!

You see, my daddy's heart was broken and sick and we prayed that he would somehow get better. Lots of people were very good to us and also prayed for my daddy. Well guess what? A wonderful miracle happened and my daddy received a beautiful new heart. It is not broken anymore. My mom says it was a special gift from someone. She also says it was a special gift from God and a true miracle.

Do you want to know what else? Now my dad can keep up with me. In fact, I can barely keep up with him!!! He often takes me hiking in the hills above our home. He cannot wait to go outside and get that new heart pounding!

I love to explore nature....but it is twice as fun when my daddy is there to experience it with me. We don't miss a beat!

A few weeks ago we set up a tent in our back yard to get us geared up for our camping excursions this summer. Me and my mom cannot wait! We even slept out in it all night long. That was really fun!

I have the best daddy in the world and boy am I happy that he is feeling so much better because he is pretty darn fun to be with! I sure love him!!!

My mom sure is enjoying my daddy's new found energy. She says he is as handsome as the day they met!!! It makes her very happy and grateful that he doesn't feel sick anymore. She says we need to keep in shape so we can keep up with him because he is planning to hike a really big mountain next month. He wants to celebrate his second chance at life and also hike it to honor my wonderful Uncle Brian. I know Uncle Brian would be climbing every mountain with my daddy if he was still here. He would really love to celebrate with him.

Well...I better go. Daddy is all set to take me fishing too! I better hurry or I'll miss out!
Thanks for listening....
Your friend, Eden
