Just over a year ago, I remember standing in our backyard with Eden as she picked a dandelion pod out of the grass and blew the seeds up into the air. I wanted to stop her from spreading the dreadful weed among my grass with her quick soft breath but I didn't want to get upset with her for a such an innocent gesture. So instead I asked if she had made a wish. Under our current circumstances at that time,
I knew I would not forget her reply.....
Last week....she got her wish!
"I wished to go fishing with daddy"
Last week....she got her wish!
It was her first time fishing and she even caught a little fish (with dad's help of course)!
She was a little frightened at first...
But after touching the slimy little guy she giggled and ran away!
We had a great time camping up Ephraim Canyon and Eden was anxious to fish again the next morning. I even got to sit in the beautiful scenery, relax, and read a book for longer than 2 minutes! There were no constant interruptions or housework calling my name, and no altitude sickness for Paul. Just good old fashioned time well spent together. We cannot wait to go again next week!

Joseph has been dying to go fishing! We're going at the end of the month with my mom and step-dad and I'm so excited. I'm glad Eden got her wish!

Those are such great pictures! What a sweet wish that Eden got to have fulfilled. Sounds like you have a summer to keep making all of these wishes come true!
How adorable are those pictures?? Oh my gosh-I would be blowing those up in your home. So precious-I think Eden feels the same way about fish that I do :)
