More reasons to celebrate...

So I was bad about not posting much about Paul's amazing concert last month but it was FABULOUS....despite the fact that he was sick with some awful bug at the time!!! As I sat in that audience (yes I like to sit in the audience rather than hang back stage....even though that can be fun too) I was again overwhelmed with feelings of satisfaction and joy for him. I felt so proud and he amazes me every day with all he continues to do with his new chance at life. The music with the full orchestra and the band was absolutely beautiful!

We also raised a considerable amount of money to help families and individuals affected by heart disease and to further much needed research(see my last post).

Second....Paul's cousin and his darling wife experienced the incredible life changing miracle of organ donation a few weeks ago after receiving a double lung transplant. She is now home and doing well. It was a special experience for us as we were able to relive our own experience and the feelings of gratitude for God's grand miracles by witnessing theirs. It was fun to be on the other end this time and the nerves were nearly as intense as when we were the one's in the hospital! Her sweet husband will now have extra years to enjoy her priceless companionship and her beautiful boys can enjoy their mama and remember her as healthy. She likewise can now care for her twins without overwhelming fatigue. (Their twins are also a miracle by the way of surrogacy from dad's loving sister).

(Pictured here a few days after her surgery)

Paul will be putting on a benefit concert to help alleviate some of their medical costs. Come help us celebrate. For more info on the benefit or to read their inspiring story visit www.lungsforjulie.com.

His new album is INCREDIBLE! Love the orchestration and would have loved to be therefor the concert. We too have experienced similar emotions we had with Paul's transplant with Julie/David's experience. God is amazing!
