My girl LOVES Halloween! It's a topic of conversation in our house all year long. What to be next year, scary things, haunted houses, etc. She still wears dress ups every single day and I am happy she has not outgrown them yet. To me it still means that she is a still a little girl that loves to pretend and she has not grown up just yet! Since her birthday is the week after Halloween, this year I gave her a choice between a birthday party or a Halloween one. She chose the Halloween one and I had fun making the plans for a simple yet fun little party. We had plenty of silly games like carrying an eyeball on a spoon without it falling, musical chairs to spooky music, we made a huge spider web together, made a Halloween necklaces to take home, and decorated jack-o-lantern cookies. Finally the girls finished off by taking turns hitting a Frankenstein pinata for lots of goofy prizes and candy. Here's a few pictures from that day.

Ooooooh...scary!!! I about died when she said she wanted to be Medusa! Yikes!!! And this girl had her mind set! She saw a picture of her in the Halloween section at a local store and it frightened her. She then decided that she was not scared and wanted to be that for Halloween. I was hoping for something sweet like a princess again but I guess eventually kids want to be scary!!!! Maybe it's their way to overcome their fears! The darn cutest thing about it all is that I came home from work one day and found Paul at the kitchen bar with a glue gun and snakes. He had spent the day finding a good wig and some plastic snakes and was on a mission to make his little lady the perfect Medusa wig! It was a great site to see!!! What a great dad!

Musical chairs to "The Monster Mash"!

The whole gang.
They were all so darn cute!!!!
