Zoo day with Ella!

We went to the Zoo with our cousin Ella on her 4th birthday. The weather was perfect and we all had a blast.. Eden loves her cousin Ella and was so glad to spend the day with her. It is going to be fun to watch these girls grow up together. They all ready have quite a bit in common.

Happy Birthday Ella.... We love you!

Meet the Boss

"Out of the mouth of babes"

While driving past our old home and pointing it out to Eden she said, "Mom, you bought our new house because of the dishwasher, huh?" (Mar.2011)

One day as I allowed Eden to lick the cake batter off the mixing spoon, I started to wash the bowl out in the sink. She asked, "Why does the sink get to lick the bowl and not me?" (Nov. 2010)

"We need to get a microscope and then our piano will be bigger!" (April 2010)

After feeding her fish one evening, Eden looked up and said, "Ahhh, he's a cute little fella." (April 2010)

When we were flying in an airplane to Florida and were up above the clouds, Eden glanced out the window and asked "Are we flying upside down?" (Mar. 2010)

"When dad comes home from the hospital, his heart will be all fixed. The workers will work on it for 5 minutes and then he can jump on the tramp!" (Aug. 2009)

My sister took Eden to the restroom and Eden commented that it was stinky in there. She then said "There must have been some boys in here." (Apr. 2009)

Eden was putting her play make up on me one evening. She said " You will look like a scary monster soon." Then she proceeded to put some pink gooey gloss in my eyebrows and said" Now your eyebrows look good and spooky". (Jan.2009)

"Mom.... when I get married in the temple, will you come? Daddy is going to be my prince. We will have to find you another prince, ok?"

I was rubbing Eden's back one night and my hands were a little cold. She promptly noticed and said "Go warm your hands up in the microwave and come back".

"When I get bigger mom I will drive your car and when you get little you can sit in my car seat when I drive."
