We had a lot of great fun planning our costumes this year. Since Eden is the chief in our house she got to choose the theme for our costumes. Initially the plan was for Eden to be Dorthy from "The Wizard of Oz" and dad was to be the Tinman (in light of his recent "search for a heart")! But as toddlers do, Eden changed her mind a hundred times. The final decision in the end for her was to be good old Tweety Bird. Paul was a great Sylvester and I went as Granny! The lucky girl also had a ballet party, a preschool party, and a ward party to dress up for so needless to say she was in heaven when she realized she could wear her other dress ups too.
We trick or treated with a few cousins again this year. Thanks to Carol for always hosting us! Here is a group shot with those that dressed up.
Paul got a ton of laughs from people driving next to us. Who wouldn't laugh at this!!!!

Once again this year she ran from house to house with so much excitement. I was so happy that Paul was there with me to experience the cute joy of it all! I swear Halloween is more fun for the parents when they have kids at this age.

I'm one of Cheryl's friends from the mission and have been following Paul's blog for awhile. I just wanted to say that I'm so happy that your life is starting to get back to normal. You guys look very happy! Eden sure does look cute and excited in that last picture. And since I grew up in Florida, I love the picture of her as a Southern Belle. :)

so, so cute! I love how their minds work although at times it can be frustrating like when you already have purchased a costume and they change their minds. Oh well...kids!
